Dr. Yehudah Pryce, DSW, MSW was a full participant in street warfare with rival gang members.
Arrested as a teenager, over 16 years completed of a 24-year prison sentence was the incredible prelude to to his Orthodox Jewish conversion.
Since his release in October of 2018, Yehudah completed his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis in social welfare, and obtained his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Social Work.
He now works as a clinical social worker for a collaborative court program for young adults in Orange County and as the senior director of national mental health and well-being programs for a national non-profit organization.Additionally, Yehudah provides individual psychotherapy to individuals inside prison.
He speaks at shuls & communities across the country about his journey from juvenile delinquency to Judaism; as well as the power of teshuvah and community, standing up against antisemitism, and the importance of the unbroken chain of indigenous Jewish religious tradition as it pertains to Jewish identity and Israel.
Yehudah resides in Irvine, CA with his wife and four children.
